William Edward Moore, Jr.

William Edward Moore, Jr., age 63, of New Brockton, AL, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at his home after a brief illness with pancreatic cancer. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, April 25, 2022 at Wooten Chapel Assembly of God with Rev. Mike Medley and Rev. Joey Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the church. Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents William Edward Moore, Sr. and Lois Moore Reeves; sister Shelby Jean Wingate; and nephew Mike Wingate. Survivors include his wife Julia A. Moore of New Brockton; sons William “Chad” Moore (Jennifer) of Tallahassee, FL, and “Charlie” Daniel Moore of New Brockton; and grandchildren Madelynn Moore, Austin Moore, Noah Moore, Harper Moore, Hazel Moore, Melissa Jones Wolfe, and Julian Jones. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
