William Ahroon Jr. of Enterprise, AL passed away, Monday, February 16, 2026 in the company of his beloved children. He was 77.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 21, 2026 at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints with Bishop Craig Harnois officiating.
He was an acoustic researcher for United States Aeromedical Research Laboratory. He researched and developed groundbreaking technology designed to protect the hearing integrity of the United States military. He deeply loved his family and was always supportive of them in whatever they pursued. He proudly served his country as a radar technician during the Vietnam War. Known for his sharp mind and confident nature, he was often the smartest person in the room — and never hesitated to let you know it.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Cynthia Ahroon and his parents, William and Courtney Ahroon.
Survivors include his seven children; Heather Beauchamp (Jason); Meagan Bradshaw (Justin); Courtney Ahroon (Adam Thompson); William Ahroon III; Lyndsey Sebold (Casey); Matthew Ahroon; David Ahroon; twenty one grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; three sisters; Mary Ann, Jeannie, and Jo.
