Wallace Robert White, Jr. “Porky” of Enterprise, AL passed away Saturday, May 16, 2026, at his home. He was 58.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 16, 2026 at Faith Independent Baptist Church in Enterprise, AL with Pastor Paul Alexander officiating. Graveside services with military honors will be held at Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, AL, at a later date.

Wallace was deeply religious and strong in faith. He began every morning with his bible, a prayer and a devotional.

He loved when friends, family or otherwise would stop by for a visit and pray with him. He didn’t know a stranger. Everyone loved him for his welcoming nonjudgmental nature and it was beautiful. If he wasn’t sitting on the porch you could often find him tending to his garden and chickens, writing music, fishing, building a fire or spending time with his family.

Wallace was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Rarely missed a game. His final moments are cherished by his children as they were spent watching the Braves, doing what he loved with whom he loved.

Wallace fought hard to live and gave even when he couldn’t afford it.

Above all, he loved his family unconditionally.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Judy White and Wallace White, Sr.

Survivors include his three children, Michael White (Lacy), Helena, AL; Shelby White (Felicia), Enterprise, AL; Glen White (Kristina), Portland, OR; seven grandchildren, Lilly Thomas, Easton White, Everleigh White, Riley Thomas, Evelyn White, and Abel White; favorite dog, Rosko Vladimir Volkov IV; three brothers, Kevin White (Doug), Cleve White (Angie), and Steve White (Hannah).
