Travis O'Neal Gatlin

Travis O’Neal Gatlin, age 76, of Daphne, Alabama, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025. He was born on September 8, 1949 to the late Talmas O’Neal Gatlin and Inez Cooper Gatlin.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, November 2, 2025, to celebrate Travis’s life at Evergreen Cemetery in Elba, AL with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in his memory.

Travis will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, sense of humor, and love for friends and family.

Travis was preceded in death by his parents, Talmas O’Neal Gatlin and Inez Cooper Gatlin, as well as his sister, Rachel Ann Gatlin, and brother, Zachary Wayne Gatlin.

Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Gatlin Knapstein (Paul) of Daphne, Alabama; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
