Thomas "Earl" Nelms

Thomas Earl Nelms, age 72, of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Monday, August 23, 2021 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Jud Waldrop and Rev. James Kilpatrick officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until service time on Thursday. In keeping with his wishes, cremation will follow the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: American Heart Association, 10 Glenlake Pkwy NE South Tower Suite 400 Atlanta, GA 30328. Mr. Nelms served in the US Army over 14 years and retired as a Department of the Army civilian after 38 years as an instructor pilot. Survivors include his wife, Kristy Limkyungeun Nelms, Enterprise, AL; sons, Lee Nelms, Dothan, AL; Randall Nelms (Jennifer), Spring, TX; Timothy Nelms, Enterprise, AL; and Daniel Nelms, Enterprise, AL; his sister, Jewell Henry, Ringgold, GA; and his brother Ray Nelms, Ringgold, GA.
