SGM (Ret) Thomas J. Danford went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2026, after an extended illness. He was 91 years old. 

Funeral service will be grave side at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery at a later date.

Tom Served 41 years in the United States Army. He was stationed in Korea and many state side duty stations.

He is preceded in death by his parents George and Erin Danford, his brothers; Max, Frank, Buddy, and his sister, Louise.

He leaves behind his wife, Mary Ann, of 72 years. Tom and Mary Ann grew up together, living only a mile apart. They both attended the same school and church growing up. He also leaves behind two sons; Vic (Donna) and Van (Donna), along with several grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
