Tammy Munsey of Elba, AL passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025 at her home. She was 55.

Tammy found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, such as watching her favorite soap operas alongside her husband and son, Mikey. In addition to her beloved family ties, Tammy held a special relationship with her friend Mandy Case Dunn, whom she considered her daughter. Tammy Munsey leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family and friends, as well as a deep appreciation for the animals that brought her happiness throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Cooper; mother, Rosie Cooper; mother-in-law, Laura Hargrove; father-in-law, William Merle Munsey; two brothers-in-law, Charles (Butch) Munsey and Robin (Boso the clown) Phillips; uncle, Rinnie Evans; her puppy, Cocoa.

Survivors include the love of her life, William Munsey, Sr.; two sons, William (Mikey) Munsey, Jr. and C.J. Loomis; daughter, Tiffany Munsey; two granddaughters, Angel Danielle Munsey and Courtney Nevaeh Munsey; sister, Mary Cooper; brother, John Cooper (Gina); two nephews, Travis Cooper and Robin Phillips, Jr.; three nieces, Rosie Phillips, Shyanne Cooper and Amanda Cooper; great nephew, Taylor Cooper; family friend, Mandy Case Dunn.
