Sylvia Clark-Anderson

Sylvia Clark-Anderson, a loving wife, mother, and friend of Freeport, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the age of 65.

In June 2025, Sylvia was diagnosed with glioblastoma. With remarkable strength, courage, and determination, she fought the disease for 13 months while surrounded by the love of her family.

A memorial service in her honor will be scheduled at a later date.

Sylvia had a special gift for creating beautiful spaces and found great joy in decorating and interior design. She enjoyed staying active through Pilates and never tired of chasing her two beloved Maine Coon cats around the house. Some of her happiest moments were spent at the beach, especially at her cherished property in Cape San Blas, Florida.

Sylvia was a true social butterfly who loved bringing people together. Whether gathering with family and friends, attending celebrations, or graciously entertaining in her home, she made everyone feel welcome and loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Margie Clark.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 27 years, Regan Anderson of Freeport, Florida; her beloved son, Ethan Anderson of Freeport, Florida; her sister, Marsha Clark-Goodson of Enterprise, Alabama; and her brother, Mack Clark Jr. of Enterprise, Alabama.

Sylvia will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, generous spirit, and the love she shared so freely with her family and friends. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
