Sherry Altieri Meeks

Sherry Altieri Meeks of Enterprise, AL passed away peacefully Sunday, June 7, 2026, at her home. She was 72.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, August 7, 2026, at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory. Private burial will be held at Asbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Asbury Church, 3554 County Road 636, Elba, Alabama 36323.

Sherry loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored and happily spoiled with treats whenever she could. She found joy in reading, listening to music, and dancing, and she cherished the simple pleasures of country life, a love she inherited from her father. Sherry enjoyed watching classic westerns such as Gunsmoke and Wagon Train.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hayward and Nell Meeks.

Survivors include her daughter, Dana Kling (Jared), Hoover, AL; son, Ward Meeks, Enterprise, AL; two grandchildren, Everett Kling and Carson Kling; sister, Donna Blais (Brett), Clearwater, FL; brother, Mike Meeks, Enterprise, AL.
