Roland Terrell Tanner

Roland Terrell Tanner of New Brockton, AL passed away Monday, September 28, 2026, at his home. He was 85.

Terrell loved his family dearly, and they were always the most important part of his life. He enjoyed flying and spending time outdoors, especially in the woods and enjoying nature. He proudly served four years in the United States Navy.

Survivors include his wife Phyllis Tanner, New Brockton, AL; daughter, Tina Tanner Browning (Robert), Fairhope, AL; son, Erik Duane Tanner (Amanda), Fairhope, AL; four grandchildren, Justin Browning (Alyssa), Morgan Browning, Taylor Tanner, and Chase Tanner; great-grandson, Wyatt Browning; two brothers, Donnie Tanner and Johnny Tanner (Rita); sister-in-law, Sally Tanner; several nieces and nephews.
