Roland Creech of Enterprise, AL passed away peacefully Thursday, July 16, 2026, at his home. He was 86.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, July 20, 2026, at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Eddins and Pastor Greg Lay officiating. Burial will follow in Marvin Chapel Assembly of God with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, July 19, 2026, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm.

Roland found his greatest joy in the simple things in life. He loved fishing, spending time outdoors, and working in his shop, where no project was ever too big or too small. He took great pride in caring for his son Matthew's pond and enjoyed feeding the fish each day. Roland also loved grilling, sharing good food with family and friends, and never passed up a sweet treat. One of his favorite places to be was sitting on the porch, taking in the day.

Above all, Roland cherished his family. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather who treasured every moment spent with those he loved. A hardworking man with a kind heart, Roland will be remembered as a good man who always put his family first and whose love, strength, and dedication will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents AD and Mildred Creech, two sisters Catherine Spicer and Melba Lolley, and three brothers O’Neal Creech, Max Creech, and Larry Creech.

Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Jane Creech, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Janice Creech, Samson, AL; two sons, Matthew Creech (Sarakathryn), Enterprise, AL; Chad Allen (Casey), Elba, AL; five grandchildren, Codie Allen (McKenzie), Landon Waller, Maisie Jane Creech, Clint Ward (Amanda), and Adrian Knowles (Heather); seven great-grandchildren, Hattie Allen, Collins Allen, Caleb Ward, Davin Ward, Parker Ward, Logan Knowles, and Ashton Knowles; three sisters, Linda Peavy, Coffee Springs, AL; Barbara Ann Saunders (Cecil), Samson, AL; Dianne Allen (Dennis), Oklahoma; three brothers, Ewell Creech (Carol), Groveland, FL; Ted Creech (Barbara), Arab, AL; Jerry Creech (Lila), Lawrenceburg, TN; numerous nieces and nephews.
