Roger Edwards Warren Jr. passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, on January 20, 2026. He was 86.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Enterprise City Cemetery with Dr. Michael Mynatt officiating, Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at Searcy Funeral Home & Crematory from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church or to Alabama Sheriffs Youth Ranches.

Mr. Roger was born on December 31, 1939, in Enterprise, AL, to Roger E. Warren Sr. and Agnes Chancey Warren. He was a 1958 graduate of Enterprise High School and attended Auburn University. He proudly served six years in the U.S. Army Reserve.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Wilbur Warren; his sister, Donna Young; brothers-in-law Bob DeVaughn and Carlton Carr; and sisters-in-law Carol Jean Farlow and Janis Gibson.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joyce Carr Warren; his sons, Hayward (Karen) of Chelsea, AL, and Ted (Melissa) of Westover, AL; and his daughter, Gail Warren Hadden of Enterprise, AL. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren: Dana Morgan (Craig) of Midlothian, VA; Ashley Collins (Kelly) of Enterprise, AL; Jessica Farley (Chugie) of Nome, AK; Justin Hadden (Kathryn) of Enterprise, AL; Hunter Hadden (Haley) of Pace, FL; Allison Sims (Daniel) of Birmingham, AL; and Emily Hunt (Gabe) of Columbiana, AL. His eight great grandchildren are Riley and Ty Morgan; Brody, Peyton, and Abigail Collins; Jackson Hadden; and Peter and Timothy Hunt.He is also survived by his sisters, Joan Marsh (Dale) and Louise DeVaughn; his sisters-in-law, Mary Helen Penny and Sara Kyser; and his brother-in-law, Charles Carr, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
