Robert Stephen "Steve" Wirth, age 79, passed away Tuesday, April, 29, 2025 at Flowers Medical Center, Dothan, Alabama after a brief illness. He was born in Missoula, Montana and lived in Enterprise, Alabama for the past 17 years.
Steve graduated from Fishburne Military School, Waynesboro, Virginia in 1965 as a Cadet Captain and Company B Commander. He served 20 years in the US Navy as a first class diver doing tours in Guam, Greece, Philippines, Egypt, Vietnam, etc.
Steve will be remembered by his family and friends for his honesty, integrity, and sense of humor.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Meadowlawn Cemetery, with Searcy Funeral Home & Crematory directing. He will be buried next to his wife, Diane, to whom he was married to for 37 years. She passed away November 30, 2022.
He is survived by his son, John Wiggins Wirth.
