Robert Allen Horn of Enterprise, AL passed away, Sunday, December 14, 2025. He was 57.

Family will have a private memorial service at later date.

Allen was a man of remarkable depth and diversity. A philosopher at heart, he found meaning in reflection, conversation, and the written word. He was a gifted songwriter who loved to write music, using melody and lyrics as a way to express his thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

A devoted nature lover and naturalist, Allen found peace outdoors and held a deep appreciation for the world around him. Above all, he was a loving father and a best friend to both of his children, sharing laughter, guidance, and unwavering support throughout their lives.

Allen honorably served in the United States Army for 22 years, dedicating his life to service before retiring in 2020. His commitment, integrity, and strength defined both his military career and his personal life.

He was preceded in death by his parents Sarah and Edward Horn; brother, James Horn.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years Shelly Ann Horn, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Taylor Rose Horn, Enterprise, AL; son, Chaise Allen Horn, Enterprise, AL; great-nieces, Rachel, and Kenlee; along with several other loving friends and family.
