Our mother, a cornerstone of resilience, left a lasting impression on the world as she passed last night, bequeathing a timeless legacy. She raised seven children, countless friends, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a multitude of friends who found comfort in her warm hospitality. Her home was a sanctuary where the weary rested and the famished were fed. We children knew when mama said to be quiet, we had better be quiet! With a heart of gold and a spirit of discernment, she guided her family with empathy, wisdom, and kindness. Her children held her in high esteem, and her presence radiated dignity in the Turning Point/Daleville Church of God, where she devoted 50 years building the church, and serving as a pianist and Church Secretary. Throughout her journey, her influence resonated deeply, and her love was palpable. She embodied hope, exemplifying love, fortitude, and dedication. Though her departure creates an irreparable void, her memory will continue to motivate and inspire us. WE LOVE YOU MAMA!!
