Richard J. Yeitz, Sr.

Richard J. Yeitz, Sr., an 83-year-old veteran and resident of Cherokee, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Richard was a long-time member of the Allsboro Community and the Allsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Angelo “Prunsie” Yeitz, and his wife of 62 years, Cathyrn Yeitz.

Survivors include his children, Rick Yeitz and Connie Yeitz; grandchild, Brayden Angelo Yeitz; and half-sister, Carla Antrim.
