Richard L. Estes of Enterprise, AL passed away Monday, January 12, 2026, at Diversicare of Montgomery - Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. He was 83.
Graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 11:45 AM, Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Alabama National Cemetery.
He was an active member of Macedonia Baptist Church and sang as part of the church choir. Richard and his family were also active members of the Salvation Army organization.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Madeleine Estes; his loving wife, Ramona Estes; his loving son, Glen Estes; brothers, Floyd and Norman Estes; and sister, Jane Estes Langley.
Survivors include his loving brother, Albert Estes; sister, Patricia Lent; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend its sincere appreciation to the staff at Flowers Hospital, Dothan, AL; Patrol Officer Daniel Choate of the Enterprise Police Department; Deputy County Coroner, Mr. Tim Whitehead; Mr. Tim Gardner of Tri-State Guns and Ammo; and Mr. Will Searcy of Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory for their assistance, caring and support during this difficult time.
