Rey David Rodriguez Maldonado, of Enterprise, AL passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025. He was 60.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Searcy Funeral Home & Crematory. Funeral services will be held in Paterson, NJ, at a later date.

A distinguished veteran of the United States Army, Rey dedicated a significant portion of his life to serving his country. His commitment to duty and service extended beyond the military, where he carried the values of honor and integrity throughout his life.Rey David Rodriguez Maldonado will be remembered not only for his service but also for his dedication to his family and the love he shared with those around him. His legacy is one of strength, commitment, and enduring love.

Rey was preceded in death by his father Hector Rodriguez, mother Aurea Maldonado, son Rey Rodriguez, Jr., and three brothers Hector A. Rodriguez, Juan L. Rodriguez, and Sergio Rodriguez.

Survivors include his loving wife, Gloria D. Rodriguez, MSG, (USA, Ret), Enterprise, AL; six children, Amy Rodriguez, FL; Damian Muniz, MI; Jaime Rodriguez, OK; Ivan Rodriguez, OK; Joshua Rodriguez, VA; Jasmin Rodriguez, PA; sixteen grandchildren; sister, Marilyn De La Cruz, Paterson, NJ; brother, Mario Rodriguez, Paterson, NJ.
