Dews were produced and he delivered.
Wesley and his wife started attending the Lumberton Church of God where he gave his life to the Lord and was called to preach in the early 1970s. He Pastored many small churches all over the state of North Carolina while also working to support his family. He worked with Liberty Life insurance company 20 years during his pastoral days and was top salesman 15 years straight. He retired from Pastoring in 2004, and moved to Holden Beach, NC but continued to preach and sing at various churches.

Wesley loved to sing and had a beautiful tenor voice. As a young man he sang with a southern gospel group out of Raeford, NC “The Choraleers” and later in life made two gospel CDs of his own.
Wesley never met a stranger and struck up a conversation with people everywhere he went. He was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend and will be greatly missed by all. Many of his last days were spent visiting with family and friends and worshipping his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He continued to praise and share the good news of Jesus Christ until his death.
