Regina Middleton, of Troy, AL passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025, at her home. She was 77.

No services are scheduled at this time.

Mrs. Middleton had a deep love for nature and spent many joyful hours on nature walks; a passion rooted in her upbringing on a farm where she delighted in playing with the chickens and cows. She pursued her education in Criminal Justice at Eastern Kentucky University and was even offered an internship with the FBI—a testament to her intelligence and drive—but she chose instead to stay home and raise her children, whom she cherished deeply. A devoted patriot, Mrs. Middleton loved her country as fiercely as she loved her family. She once even wrote a heartfelt letter to Supreme Court Justice, Clarence Thomas, reflecting her engaged and thoughtful spirit.

Regina was preceded in death by her brother Lowell Collinsworth and two sisters Teddie Albright and Shelia Collinsworth.

Survivors include her loving husband of 35 years, Larry Middleton; two daughters, Gina Spivey (Chris), Gulfport, MS; Leah Bauer, Troy, AL; two sons, Vaughn Lamore, Dayton, OH; Joe Lamore (Jen), Ozark, AL; ten grandchildren, Adam, Nathan, Alisha, Ashlea, Joshayla, JoJo, Kalinda, Tres, Andre, and Lena; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Henning, MI; Daisy Joseph, KY.
