Peggy Irene Nichols

Peggy Irene Nichols of Enterprise, AL passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Medical Center Enterprise. She was 88.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M Friday, June 26, 2026 at Union Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Union Grove Baptist Church, 2525 County Road 643, Chancellor, AL.

Peggy found great joy in crocheting, cooking, and sharing meals with those she loved. She especially cherished time spent with her family, and her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Peggy was a faithful member of Union Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed life's simple pleasures, including sitting on her front porch surrounded by family and friends.

Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Billy Ray Nichols, daughter Sandra Kendrick and three sons Mark, Henry, and Nathan Stricklin.

Survivors include her three daughters, Wanda Bacorn (Ron), Broken Bow, OK; Barbara Kay Stricklin, Echo, AL; Kelli Nichols, Coffee Springs, AL; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
