Muriel C. Danley

Muriel C. Danley, of Jack, AL, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at her home. She was 88. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 24, 2025 at Victoria Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Marler officiating. Burial will follow in Victoria Community Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until service time. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Victoria Community Cemetery, c/o Wilson Mobley, 13606 Highway 125, Jack, AL 36346 or a charity of your choice.

Muriel was born and raised in Plant City, FL. She and her husband moved to Jack, AL in 1967. She worked with Alfa Insurance for twenty-six and half years, Colonial Bank for ten years, as well as partnering with her husband in raising chickens, hogs, cows, horses.

She was predeceased by her husband Joseph H. Danley, mother Gertrude Carlson and three sisters Shirley Billston, Edna Raulerson, and Mary Whitehead. 

Survivors include her daughter, Dawn Kelley (Ronnie); son, Mark L. Danley (Virginia); four grandchildren, Jessica Tuberville (Shawn), Andrew Kelley (Danielle), Jason Danley (Amber), and Heather Davis (Dewayne); fifteen great-grandchildren; sister, Martha Rogers; several nieces and nephews.
