Michael Larry Smith

Michael Larry Smith (Mickey) of Enterprise, AL passed away Monday, June 9, 2025 in Coffee County, Alabama. He was 79.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Dr. Ben Bowden and Rev. Bobby Smith officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. Memorial donations may be made in Mickey’s memory to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 4015 Highway 27, Enterprise, AL 36330 or the Jimmy Bowden Foundation, PO Box 311710, Enterprise, AL 36331.

Mickey was born July 17, 1945 in Coffee County, Alabama to Mercer and Murl Miller Smith. He was a farmer and small businessman. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, sister Peggy S. Bowden, brothers Robert H. Smith (Bobby), Wayne M. Smith, and Don N. Smith, and numerous friends.

Survivors include his two daughters, Pam S. Kormylo (Eric), Enterprise, AL; Paige Smith Wyatt (Massl), Corrales, NM; son, Michael L. Smith, Jr. (Amy), Vestavia, AL; three grandchildren, Chloe Sage Wyatt, Evan James Kormylo, and William Glen Smith; many nieces and nephews.
