Matthew Scott Vidal

Matthew Scott Vidal of Enterprise, AL, was born on October 24, 1975, in North Miami, Florida, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Medical Center Enterprise. He was 49. 

The family will receive friends at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. In honor of Matt’s love for animals, the family requests memorial donations be made to S.O.S Animal Shelter, 25944 Highway 134 E, Enterprise, AL 36330, in lieu of flowers. 

Matthew is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Frank Thomas and Doris Thomas (Jack), paternal grandparents Adelaida Miller and George A. Vidal, Sr. (Erme), maternal uncle William Thomas, maternal aunt Linda Thomas, brother-in-law Robert C. Scheetz, Jr., stepfather Jerrell Jeffcoat, and his best friend Paul Frusha. 

Survivors include his parents, George A. Vidal, Jr. (Cindy) and Doreen Jeffcoat; siblings, Jennifer Scheetz (Scott) and Natalie Neuwien (Skip); nieces, Sammie, Sarabeth and Sydney Neuwien; paternal aunt, Carol Bloom; paternal uncle, Vidal; numerous other friends and relatives.
