Mary Lois Scarbrough

Mary Lois Scarbrough of Enterprise, AL passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Southeast Health Medical Center. She was 82.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Ino Assembly of God Cemetery with Dr. Danny Wiggins officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home the day of the service from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Throughout her life, Mary found immense joy in simple pleasures. She loved fishing, cooking, and flowers. Additionally, she found great enjoyment in Western movies, drawn to their stories of resilience and adventure, which also echoed her own strength.  Mary instilled toughness and resilience within her family, ensuring they approached life's challenges with determination. Her legacy lives on through the lessons she taught and the love she shared.

Mrs. Scarbrough was preceded in death by her husband of 13 years Ran D. Adams, husband of 42 years Frank Scarbrough, daughter Jean Adams, son Willie Adams, and two brothers JD Capps and Willie Van Capps.

Survivors include her two daughters, Barbara Smith (Randy), Enterprise, AL; Lisa Adams, Hartford, AL; four granddaughters, Brooke Smith, Enterprise, AL; Jennie Riley, Headland, AL; Tiffany Key, VA; Rebecca McWaters, New Brockton, AL; grandson, Brandon Smith, Goodman, AL; several great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Kilpatrick (Junior), Enterprise, AL; brother, Bill Capps (Audrey), Enterprise, AL; several nieces and nephews.
