Marie Louise Clark of Enterprise, AL passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026. She was 78.

Marie lived life with joy, faith, and a love for the people around her, many called her Mama. A devoted caregiver by nature, she found purpose in helping others and always put the needs of those she loved before her own. She had an adventurous spirit and cherished traveling, snow skiing, and cheering on her favorite sports teams. An accomplished softball player in her younger years, Marie remained a lifelong sports enthusiast and was an unwavering fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She also enjoyed crocheting, dancing, and especially loved two-stepping whenever she had the chance. Marie faithfully served her country through 20 years of Civil Service, a career that took her to Germany, Japan, and several states across the country before her retirement. Above all, her faith was the foundation of her life. She read her Bible every night and maintained a deep and abiding relationship with Jesus Christ. Though she was raised in the Catholic faith, she chose to raise her children in the Protestant faith, instilling in them the same love for God that guided her throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Fern Walsh; brother, Rex Walsh; sister, Cathy Jenkins; two sons, Anthony “Tony” S. Greenwood, Joshua A. Mickelsen; great-grandchild, Dean Necker.

Survivors include her two sons, Michael Greenwood (Beverly), Enterprise, AL, Shann Greenwood (Angie), Randle, WA; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild on the way; two sisters, Darlene Workman (David), Tacoma, WA, Teresa Walsh Burn (Robert), Portland, OR; three brothers, Pat Walsh (Ann), Tacoma, WA, Don Walsh, Tacoma, WA, Matthias “Tip” Walsh (Gena), Fife, WA; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
