Margarethe Marie Allphin of Daleville, Alabama passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at her home. She was 93.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Margarethe loved art and spent much of her time painting and sculpting. She enjoyed gardening and had a passion for traveling, always eager to see new places, though she never liked to swim. Most of all, she loved her family and her husband dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ernst and Marie Baumgartner.
Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Edward W. Allphin, Daleville, AL; son, Bryce Trahan (Jessica), Kentucky; three grandchildren, Renee Trahan, Jaxon Trahan, and Hannah Goolsby; several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to DaySpring Hospice for their care and support during her final days.
