Lyneva Jo Franks

Lyneva Jo Franks of Enterprise, AL, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2026, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 80 years old.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with her son-in-law, Carrol Lambson officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a memorial donation to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the American Red Cross.

Jo will be remembered in many ways, but perhaps most by her unfailing and selfless love for Don, her husband of 55 years, her children, and her grandchildren. Jo was a woman of many talents, but one way in which she enjoyed expressing her love and devotion was through sewing and needle work. Her children and grandchildren cherish the many masterpieces she presented to them on special occasions. Jo had a tender heart and served those in need in many ways, but her greatest ambition was to be a mother, which she did with grace, kindness, humor, and an unfailing commitment of loyalty, and devotion. The love Jo and Don shared, and continue to share, is eternal. They modeled how a husband and wife should care for each other with tenderness, selflessness, and charity, the greatest of all attributes. In addition to selfless love, Jo’s legacy is one of humor, wit, and charm. She loved to smile, laugh, and tease, and her posterity have richly inherited those attributes, which they will proudly carry forward.

Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Mary Beauregard, three brothers Stevie Beauregard, John Beauregard, and Tom Beauregard, and daughter Barbara Beighle.

Survivors include her loving husband, Don Franks, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Amy Lambson, Sierra Vista, AZ; two sons, James Franks, Enterprise, AL; Todd Franks, Tucson, AZ; three sisters, Jacqueline Van Dyke, Sacramento, CA; Patricia Peabody, Mineral Wells, TX; Angela Lee, Mineral Wells, TX; brother, Michael Beauregard, Ball, LA; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
