Linda Marie Keir of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Enterprise Health and Rehabilitation. She was 78.

A mass will be held in Wilmington, NC by Secular Franciscans of the St. Thomas More Fraternity at a later date.

Linda had a kind and giving heart. She loved to volunteer and spent much of her time helping others. She was a longtime member of the Secular Franciscans of the St. Thomas More Fraternity and was also a former nun with the Sisters of St. Clare.

Linda also enjoyed simple pleasures. She loved to read and had a special talent for crafting, always finding joy in creating things by hand. She also had a great love for all animals. She will be remembered for her gentle spirit and her care for others.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Florence Provost.

Survivors include her daughter, Bobbi Kuhn (Ed), Enterprise, AL; son, Martin Keir, New Port Richey, FL; five grandchildren, Mike (Lexi), Tori (Spencer), Jamison (Laura), James Jr. and Bryce; seven great grandchildren, Scarlette, Jonah, Bobby, Alex, Danny, Will, and Rhiannon; along with many cousins to include, Carol, Paul, Carmen, Roland, Jim, Terry, Mary, Morris, and Joe.
