Linda was born on January 12, 1949, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to George H. Small and Betty A. Cowell. She grew up on the family farm alongside her sister, Evelyn, and brothers, Richard and John.
Linda's greatest joy was her family. She was a loving wife to James for 35 years. She was a devoted mother to her two daughters, Diana and Lisa. Her grandchildren and great-grandchild brought her tremendous joy, and she took great pride in their lives and accomplishments.
Linda was a woman of strong faith. Her relationship with the Lord became an important part of her life, and she was an active and faithful member of the Church on Boll Weevil Circle.
Linda worked for 35 years at The Citizens Bank on Rucker Boulevard where she developed many lasting friendships and became a familiar and beloved part of the community. She was also actively involved in several community organizations including the Pilot Club, Relay for Life, Salvation Army and the Oscar Club.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, George H. Small and Betty A. Cowell; her husband, James M. Andress; and her grandson, Tyler A. Solie.
She leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory in their hearts: her daughters, Diana (Nate) Plants and Lisa (Jason) Hill; grandchildren, Shelby (Thomas) Couch, Baylee (Parker) Harrelson, Courtney Solie, and Emma Hill, Preston Hill, Amanda Hill, and Meagan Hill; great granddaughter, Olivia Couch; her sister, Evelyn (Don) Cataldo; her brothers, Richard (Bev) Small and John (Barb) Small; her and her nephews, Chris Cataldo, Dan (Missy) Small, Phillip (Jennie) Small, and Gary (Jamie) Small.
Linda's life was defined by her love for her family, her friendships, her service to others, and, most importantly, her faith. She lived a life full of love, laughter, memories, and purpose. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. But those who knew Linda best know that she would want us to remember not only the sadness of her passing, but the joy of the life she lived.
