Kenneth Anthony Buehler Sr. went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 15, 2026. He was born on August 29, 1936, in Freeburg, MO.
Funeral service will be held at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM with Bro. Jim Duhaime officiating and Searcy Funeral Home & Crematory Directing. The family will receive friends from 10AM Tuesday until the service time. Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to The Alzheimer's Association or Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Ken proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1955 until 1959 in Jacksonville, FL. While serving in the Navy, he met the love of his life, Louise Sconyers Buehler. Following his military service, the couple moved to Enterprise in 1959, where they built a loving family and life together. Ken attended aviation school at Fort Rucker, where he earned his A&P license. He was ultimately promoted to flight aircraft inspector where he worked for 39 years.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Alma and Frank Buehler; his brothers, Donald and Tommy Buehler; his son, Chad Van Buehler, and his grandson, Elijah Anthony Buehler.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Louise Sconyers Buehler; his children, Cindy Buehler Hodges (Mark) of Baton Rouge, LA, Kimberly Buehler McDuffie (Ken) of Cumming, GA, Kenneth Anthony Buehler Jr. (Tonia) of Enterprise, AL, and Chasity Buehler Lentz of Enterprise, AL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Caitlin DeDeaux (Charles), Austin Hodges (Lina), Chase McDuffie, Cole McDuffie (Kayla), Dylan Buehler (Angelica), Jordan Buehler (Becca), Morgan Wood (Ryan), Carson Lentz, and Madison Lentz; as well as eight great-grandchildren; his brothers, Harold Buehler (Mary Jane) and Gary Buehler (Rosie); sister-n-law, Lou Buehler; many nieces and nephews.
Ken was a longtime member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed carpentry, fishing, camping, cruising, and helping friends and family with their tax returns. Above all, Ken cherished the time he spent with his family, creating memories that will be treasured for generations.
