Karen Delaine Tyre

Karen Delaine Tyre of Enterprise passed away Saturday September 6, 2025. She was 75.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 11, 2025 at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will take place Friday, September 12, 2025 at Screven City Cemetery in Screven, GA.

Karen earned her GED and went on to attend Barbour County Vocational Center in Philippi, West Virginia, where she completed Nurse’s Aide Training. She dedicated part of her career to caring for others at Broaddus Hospital in Philippi. Later, she was employed by Frito Lay. Karen was a creative and kind-hearted soul who found joy in simple pleasures. She loved to crochet, color, and tend to her garden. A generous spirit, she supported causes close to her heart, including St. Jude’s and Toys for Tots.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debbie D. Poling and her parents Margaret Mishoe and Radford Tyre.

Survivors include her children, Donald C. Poling Jr. (Darlene), Jesup, GA, JoLinda H. Flemister (Steven), Queensland, AU, Michelle L. Thomas, Enterprise, AL; grandchildren, Adam Myers, Enterprise, AL, Brady Flemister (Jess), Sydney, AU, Tristen Poling, Statesboro, GA; sisters, Audrey Kortie (Ron), Jesup, GA, Barbara Lane (Wilbur), Jesup, GA; nieces, Shanleigh Lane Fales (Greg), Jesup, GA, Dasha Lane Scarborough (Bill), Jesup, GA; along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
