Judy Anne Compton

Judy Anne Compton of New Brockton, AL passed away, Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at her home. She was 77.

A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Judy loved painting and gardening and truly had a green thumb. She cherished her family and enjoyed spending time watching Alabama football. Her love for simple pleasures and those closest to her will always be remembered.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jerry Compton, sister Margaret Barnes, and brothers Bill Phelps, Don Phelps, and Jimmy Phelps.

Survivors include her two sons, Bobby Hill (Kathy), DeFuniak Springs, FL; Michael Hill (Cissy), Tuscaloosa, AL; five grandchildren, Ben (Bekki), Payton (Mathew), Pollianna, Destiny, and Mindy; nine great-grandchildren, Aurora, Ophelia, Cash, Grayson, Daxton, Aubrey, Alleigh, Ashley, and Arabella; brother, Danny Phelps, Sebring, FL.
