Juanita (Leah) Webster

Juanita (Leah) Webster of Daleville, AL passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at Southeast Health. She was 79.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM, Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Karl Hudson officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 PM until service time.

Leah worked for Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Division at numerous military installations catering to patrons of various social events and ceremonies as the best Bartender one could ask for. An avid bowler, she was a team member of the American Legion Ladies League for numerous years and loved the art of fishing and crabbing and playing Bingo.

United in marriage on August 11, 1989 to John, the now military family’s journey included Fort Rucker, AL, Newport News, VA, Tucson, AZ, Corpus Christi, TX, Fredericksburg, PA, El Paso, TX and finally settling down in Daleville, AL.

Her declining health dampened her mobility but not her passion to provide assistance and support to others. Leah will be surely missed by her friends, her family and partner for over 35 years. You will forever be in my heart.

Survived by one daughter of natural birth; one grandson, Matthew; and accepted as her own daughter, Sejana; son, John III; niece, Mabenjelin; a caring husband, John; great grandson, Isiah; and five grandchildren so far.
