Joyce Faye Styles, age 89, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Meadowlawn Cemetery with a family viewing beginning at 10:00 AM at Searcy Funeral Home.
Born in Sand Mountain, Alabama to Cora and Herbert Williams, Joyce lived a life marked by faith, warmth, and devotion. She was a proud and loyal daughter of God, carrying her faith with her in every stage of life.
Joyce brought joy wherever she went. She loved being around people and had a gift for conversation, always ready to talk, laugh, and share stories. Her outgoing, friendly spirit made her a natural at forming connections, and she embraced every opportunity to brighten the day of those around her.
A dedicated professional, Joyce spent more than 40 years in real estate, serving families throughout the area. She was known for her caring nature, commitment to her clients, and her deep knowledge of the community she loved so dearly.
Joyce will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, her faith, and her unwavering love for others. Her presence touched many lives, and her legacy will continue through the countless people she helped, encouraged, and inspired throughout her long and beautiful life.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Tom Styles, Enterprise, AL; her sister Marie “Susie” Coker; her son, Jeffery Petty; grandson, Chance (Amber) Petty; her stepson Thomas (Marie) Styles; her stepdaughter Kimberly (Scott) Haralson; and her two grandchildren Jaylie Haralson and Lainey Haralson; and a large and loving extended family.
The family wishes to thank Sheila Armstrong and Gentiva Hospice for the care, love, and patience they showed and gave to Joyce.
