Joseph Anthony Soroka of Enterprise, AL passed away, Thursday, December 11, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was 8.

Celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 19, 2025, at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time. The family will gather with visitors following the service at Josephs Grandparents Home.

Joseph loved everyone and everything, embracing the world with a heart that knew no limits. He never chose a favorite animal because he loved all creatures equally. Curious and bright, Joseph loved to learn and was famous for having trivia questions ready for anyone willing to listen. He especially enjoyed cooking seafood and delighted his family by making breakfast sandwiches and smoothies. Their home remains filled with his artwork and crafts, each piece a reflection of his creativity and joy. Joseph loved Jesus and the Bible, and his faith was evident in the way he lived. He was the most selfless and compassionate little boy. Even while bravely enduring illness and chemotherapy, Joseph’s concern was always for others checking on how the other children were doing and making sure his family was okay. He never wanted anyone to be sad and would do anything he could to bring a smile to someone’s face. Joseph adored his big brother, James, and proudly bragged about how smart he was. He was incredibly proud of him. He cherished time spent with his cousins, visits from his grandparents, and especially loved living so close to Blake and George, his built-in best friends, with whom he shared laughter, mischief, and unforgettable memories.

Survivors include his parents, James and Kristina Soroka; brother, James Soroka III; grandparents, Aida and Tim Stallings, Timothy Carter; great-grand parents, Jenaro and Aida Diaz; Puppy dog/sister, Raven.
