Jerry R. Grimes

Jerry R. Grimes, 76, of Brundidge, AL passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024 at his home following a lengthy battle with Dementia. Private services will be held at a later date. Mr. Grimes was a 1966 graduate of Glennville High School. After graduation, he began working with the State of Georgia as an engineer and retired in 1998. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Reese and Lucille Todd Grimes; his first wife and mother of his children, Janice Iddens Grimes. Survivors include his wife, Linda Grimes, Brundidge, AL; 2 daughters, Sonia Kooser (Tony), Atlanta, GA, Jessica Grimes Foy, Reidsville, GA; son, Jay Grimes, Texas; half-brother, Owen Todd, Keysville CA; sister, Patti Mixon, Florida; and several grandchildren.
