Glenda Gayle Jones

Glenda Gayle Jones of Enterprise, AL passed away, Friday, October 31, 2025, at Enterprise Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was 78.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Rhoades Cemetery, 3720 Highway 189, Kinston, Alabama 36453 with Rev. Randall Pearson officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 12:30 PM until service time.

Glenda worked for many years at Enterprise Electronics before retiring, where she was known for her dedication and strong work ethic. A loving and compassionate soul, she was a faithful caretaker to her husband and her cherished fur babies, tending to them with endless love and devotion until their passing. Glenda’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family, she treasured every visit, phone call, and gathering, always bringing laughter, kindness, and warmth wherever she went.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Coy Timothy Jones, parents C.J. Knight and Alma Jewell Knight, father and mother-in-law Coy and Voncille Jones, sister Faye Phillips, and brothers Jimmy Knight, Jerry Knight, Donald Knight, and E.L. Knight.

Survivors include her two sisters, Sue Knight and Judie Taylor; four sisters-in-law, Susan Seiber, Ronda Bertsch (Wayne), Darlene Knight, and Gayle Knight; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members; devoted friends and neighbor, Teresa and Aaron Franklin.
