Geraldine Faye "Gerry" Jackson

Geraldine Faye “Gerry” Jackson of Daleville, AL passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Opp Health and Rehabilitation. She was 92. 

 Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 2, 2024 at Daleville  Assembly of God Church with Rev. William Mansfield officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or American Cancer Society. 

 Gerry was preceded in death by her parents Estie and Grace Blankenship, sisters Virginia Howard and Carolyn Slightom, brothers William Blankenship and Gary Blankenship, sister in law Ramona Blankenship, son Michael Jackson, daughter and son in law Faye and Jack Caldwell, sons in law Timothy Conrad, Timothy Chance and Daren Drysdale and grandson Cody Clements. 

 Survivors include her two daughters, Lisa Drysdale (Sammie) and Crystal Conrad; son, Donald Jackson (Geri); nine grandchildren, Nikki King (Bryan), April Griffin (Johnny), Kenneth Straughn, Brian Jackson (Kim), Michelle Anderson, JR Cleghorn (Melissa), Debra Taijeron, Gabriel Jackson, Ashley Powell; two brothers, Ivan Blankenship (Evelyn) and Denver Blankenship (Nancy); sister in law, Nancy Blankenship; brother in law, Larry Slightom; several great-great grandchildren and cousins.
