Freddie Charles Stone of Daleville, AL passed away Monday, April 13, 2026, at Wesley Place. She was 91.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 17, 2026, at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Bill Mansfield officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time.

Freddie was a quiet and gentle soul whose life was deeply rooted in her love for the Lord. She found joy in the simple things, especially tending to her garden and spending time outdoors. Her faith guided her daily life, and she lived it out with kindness, humility, and a caring heart toward others.

Freddie had a special love for children and faithfully served as a Bible class teacher at her church, where she devoted her time to helping and encouraging the little ones. She also enjoyed bowling, a pastime that brought her happiness and fellowship with friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bunyan David Smith and Leeta McCall; grandson, David Stone; sister, Onzie McKenzie; brother, Dallas Smith.

Survivors include her two sons, Craig Stone (Sandra), Dothan, AL, Chris Stone, Mesa, AZ; two granddaughters, Shannon Stone, Rachel Stone (John); two grandsons, James Stone (Gena), Ben Stone (Tonya); two great-grandchildren, Madison Baxley, Kennedy Baxley.
