Earl Frederick "Andy" Anderson Jr.

Andy Anderson of Geneva, AL, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at Wiregrass Medical Center. He was 86.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Kerry Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home & Crematory directing.

Mr. Anderson was a hard worker. He worked for AFS at Hanchey Field for over 30 years and Farley Nuclear Plant for approximately 10 years.

Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Francis Anderson and his son, Buddy Anderson whom he cared for during their sickness.

Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Gina Anderson, Geneva, AL; step-daughter, Wendy McArdle; 3 grandchildren, Mitchell Anderson, April Starling, Logan McArdle; 4 great-grandchildren; Alexus Starling, Hunter Starling, Zane McArdle, Adalen McArdle, 2 great-great-grandchildren, Lillian Starling, Elizabeth Starling; sister, Mary Anderson Cole, Antain, NH; brother, Edward James Anderson, Woodbury, CT.
