Dulcena Tessner of Daleville, AL passed away peacefully Sunday, June 7, 2026, at her home. She was 83.

She found joy in the simple pleasures of life and especially cherished her time spent reading her Bible and collecting recipes. In her later years, she enjoyed sewing and crocheting, creating with her hands and sharing her talents with those she loved. She also enjoyed watching videos on YouTube and appreciated the quiet moments these interests brought her. Above all, she treasured her faith and the simple blessings that filled each day.

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 26 years Jesse Ray Tessner; grandchild, Danielle Wilson; twelve brothers and one sister.

Survivors include four children, Hugh Tessner (Janine), Daleville, AL, James Tessner, Daleville, AL, Cecil Tessner (Victoria), Daleville, AL, Jessica Davis, Daleville, AL; six grandchildren, Ashley, Issac, Caleb, Jesse, Rebekkah, Elizabeth; ten great-grandchildren; along with several other loving family members.
