Dorothy Jean Medley

Dorothy Jean Medley of Enterprise, AL passed away, Friday, March 1, 2024 at Enterprise Health and Rehabilitation. She was 92. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 11, 2024 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Rev. Karl Hudson. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until service time. Mrs. Medley loved to work outside in the garden she had a green thumb. She also loved to be in the kitchen with her pound cakes always bringing people back for more. She was preceded in death by her husband C.B. (Red) Medley, and parents Rev. Wheat and Bertha Mae Brannon Jones. Mrs. Medley’s nephews will serve as pallbearers. Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Ann Medley, Enterprise, AL; son, Henry Clemmons Medley, II (Alisha Nelms Medley).
