Dora Viola Tyler of Enterprise, AL passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026, at her home. She was 90.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until service time.

Dora found joy in the simple, meaningful things in life. She loved sewing and cooking; talents she shared generously with those around her. A devoted housewife, Dora took great pride in caring for her family, always making sure everyone felt loved and looked after. Her family held a special place in her heart, and she was forever devoted to her beloved husband, Billy Tyler, who preceded her in death 18 years ago.

She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Tyler, two daughters Carolyn Hirschman and Shirley Pegg, son Jimmy Ables and grandson Robert Hirschman.

Survivors include her three daughters, Sandra Marshall, Springhill, FL; Frances Jernigan, Enterprise, AL; Robin Tyler (Chuck), Bonifay, FL; son, Ricky Tyler (Lori), Wahneta, FL; six grandchildren, Candy Kennedy (Jay), Chrissy Pegg-Sanchez (James), Sheila Dates, Richard Hirschman, David Jernigan (Chrisoula), Ariel Morris; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
