Deitra Karoyl Brunson

Dee Brunson of Enterprise, AL passed away, Sunday, December 7, 2025, at her home. She was 77.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Dr. Ben Bowden officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 302 North Main Street, Enterprise, AL 36330 or to a charity of your choice.

Dee was a devoted member of First Baptist Church Enterprise, where her faith, kindness, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charles Richard Kennett and Ouida Gene Kennett, brother Rickey Kennett, and grandson Benjamin Cooper Brunson.

Survivors include her husband, Winston Brunson, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Lynn Otto (Henry), Enterprise, AL; two sons, David Brunson (Angie), Arlington, TN; Michael Brunson (Marie), Helena, AL; six grandchildren, Haley Hutto (Chance), Grapevine, TX; Jacob Otto, Enterprise, AL; Drew Brunson, Helena, AL; Sam Brunson, Arlington, TN; Hannah Brunson, Helena, AL; Josh Brunson, Arlington, TN.
