David Kent Richardson

David Kent Richardson of Enterprise, AL passed away Monday, June 22, 2026, at his home. He was 67.

David was a hardworking man who dedicated many years as a truck driver before retiring. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a firefighter aboard an aircraft carrier. David loved scrapping and could often be found driving around in search of treasures to salvage, repair, and tinker with. He was a football fan, especially devoted to the Dallas Cowboys. Above all, David cherished time spent with his family, particularly his grandchildren, who brought him immense joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Helen Richardson, and brother, Daniel Kelly Richardson.

Survivors include his two sons, Steven Richardson (Sadie), Dothan, AL; Will Richardson (Ragan), Enterprise, AL; four grandchildren, Ezra, Addalee, West, and Grey Richardson.
