Carol Elizabeth Reed

Carol Elizabeth Reed of Enterprise, AL passed away Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Medical Center Enterprise. She was 98.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, October 2, 2026, at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Bill Harvey officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time.

Carol moved from Vermont and settled in Enterprise, Alabama, in 2012. She was outgoing and loving, creative and up for any activity her family members were involved in. Carol will be remembered for her love of family and friends, biblical faith and sharing God’s word and love to all. She enjoyed attending Community Bible Study, Hillcrest Baptist Church, and Daffodil Garden Club.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Harold “Dool” Kuehner Reed.

Carol is survived by her children, Marshel Clarke Reed (Lisa) of Anchorage, AK and their children, Vaughn Reed, Jessica Reed Rushbrook and Tara Reed Pike (Greg); Jennifer Elizabeth Reed of Enterprise, AL; Matthew McKennan Reed (Kristin) of Newton, AL and their children, Alyssa Reed, Katelyn Reed Davis (Adam) and Isaac Reed; six great grandchildren, Conner, Charleigh, Emma, Reed, Nicolas and Jack; and sister, Joy Riemann of Maine.
