Carl Lamax Ivey, Sr. of Jack, AL passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 at his home. He was 82. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until service time. Survivors include his daughters, Alice Marie Ivey, Jack, AL; Candy Ivey Dieabold, Jackson, MO, Lori Ivey, Dothan, AL, and a daughter who also passed away Saturday, Cindy Ivey Carter, in Statesville, NC; sons, Carl Ivey, Jr., Lindale, TX, Paul Lamax Ivey, Dothan, AL; sister, Laura Ivey Wood; brothers, Tony Ivey and Danny Ivey; 13 grandchildren; 4 greatgrandchildren.
