Beverly Judith Taylor

Beverly Judith Taylor of Opp, AL passed away peacefully on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Noland Hospital. She was 72.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Country Cathedral Church, 31022 Hwy 84 E, Opp, AL with Rev. Charles Dyess officiating. Burial will follow in Alabama State Veterans Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Beverly loved reading, cooking, and traveling. She cherished spending time with her family and greatly valued her church family at Westview Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her love, kindness, and the joy she brought to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Steburg and parents David and Dora Colquett.

Survivors include her husband, William “Pat” Taylor, Opp, AL; aunt, Eloise Northey, Opp, AL; two nieces, Estella Colquett and Lauren Colquett; three nephews, Scott Colquett (Chris Harris), Lee Colquett (Shannon Joyce), and Brian Colquett (Merit Bernhardt); sister-in-law, Betty Colquett.
