Betty Gayle Stenger

Betty Gayle Stenger of Enterprise, AL, passed away, Sunday, December 15, 2024 at Medical Center Enterprise. She was 67.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Donnie Marler officiating and Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until service time.

Betty was a vibrant spirit known for her creative talents and deep love of family and animals. As a devoted family member, Betty’s affection for her loved ones was paramount, and she cherished the moments spent together. She was also a dedicated fan of the University of Alabama football.

Mrs. Stenger was preceded in death by her son Gary Savoy Phillips and parents Comer and Lillian Brooks.

Survivors include her loving husband of 34 years, Karl Stenger, Enterprise, AL; daughter, Brandy Schiavone (Jason), Enterprise, AL; two sisters, Kathy Alonzo (Tony), Texas; Carol Hanchey, Columbus, GA; two brothers, Comer Ray Brooks (Tina), Elba, AL; Ralph Brooks, Elba, AL; several nieces and nephews.
